Mycelarium (the 2026 incremental game by PLAN KAPKAN) has a free demo, and it is not a mode inside the paid app. Steam lists Mycelarium Demo as app 5371480, Windows only, dated 8 October 2026.

What the posts say is in the build

The demo store entry is filed as a game demo and as single-player. It does not carry the achievement category that the paid app gained in update 1.02. Treat the demo as a limited underground, the core growth loop, some of the mushrooms, and a slice of the upgrade tree. I am not itemising every mushroom, because the demo page does not publish that inventory.

Demo 2.0, announced 30 October 2026, is the post that matters. It unlocked Repeller so players could answer hedgehogs, it added a save system, it changed the look, and it retuned balance. That is the last demo-specific news before the paid launch on 3 November. The trailer on YouTube is titled Demo Out Now and was uploaded 20 October 2026, ten days before that 2.0 post.

What nobody has written down

Carryover of a demo save into app 5181520 is not stated. I leave it blank rather than tell you the first hour will be waiting in the paid install. Whether Survival and Exploration exist inside the demo is also undocumented. Those modes were announced for the paid 1.02 patch, after the demo’s last news post.

Install it from the demo’s own Steam page. The paid page’s “download demo” button, when Steam shows one, points at this same app. There is no itch.io build of this demo. The itch.io game named Mycelarium is a different, older project.

Does the demo include achievements?

The demo app does not list an achievement set. The 19 achievements belong to the paid game after update 1.02.

Will my demo progress move over?

No post says so. Do not assume the save transfers.
