Mycelarium Trees

Mycelarium (the 2026 incremental game by PLAN KAPKAN) uses trees twice: as ground you can build on, and as a meal for the Consumptor mushroom. The store’s own verb is “parasitize trees.”

Build on the trunk, then eat the tree

A play video says water mushrooms grow on tree trunks, and the upgrade-tree screenshot shows an evolution task that asks you to build two mushrooms on trees. Those are two different public texts for the same idea: a trunk is a legal tile. The surface store screenshot shows mushrooms sitting on the trees above the soil line, which is why this page treats trunks as part of the map rather than scenery.

Consumptor is the mushroom that eats a whole mature tree for a large food payout. It has to be placed beside that tree. Speed and Yield are the two branches on the official tree. Like French Fries counts 15 full-scale trees. I do not have a food-per-tree figure. One community guide says a tree can be eaten only once. That sentence has no second source, so it stays a player report.

A layout players describe

One report places two trees, a Stinky mushroom between them, and Repellers on the outer side. The idea is that the food building sits in the smell field while the scare faces the path animals walk. I am keeping the layout as a sketch, not a blueprint. Animal paths are not a fixed map.

Trees are not the early food plan. Leaves and pods feed the first nodes. A Consumptor you cannot yet place is an upgrade point spent on a branch with no parent on the ground. Build the mushroom when a mature tree is actually beside the network.

Questions people ask

Can I eat the same tree twice?

One community guide says no. Nothing else confirms it, so the page does not treat that as settled.

Which mushroom goes on a trunk?

The video names Water mushrooms. The evolution task only says two mushrooms, without a species.
