How to Get Food in Mycelarium
Mycelarium (the 2026 incremental game by PLAN KAPKAN) spends food when you build a node or a mushroom. It does not drain food on a clock. If the counter is empty, you grew faster than the map is feeding you.

Five places food comes from
The store text names fallen leaves as food. A long play video shows surface food pods and reads a Flora tooltip that lowers mushroom food prices. The same video’s upgrade tooltips name Absorption for leaves and Protein Absorption for worms. Predator mushrooms catch flies. Consumptor mushrooms eat a whole tree. I keep those five because a store sentence, a tooltip reading, and one community food guide point at the same set. The guide is the only place that lines them up as a list, so the list itself is one community source.
Predator belongs inside the area your Stinky mushrooms already cover. Crows take mushrooms that sit in the open. Consumptor has to sit beside a mature tree; the achievement Like French Fries asks for 15 full-scale trees consumed that way. Small Factory and Industrial revolution ask for 20 and then 100 Predator mushrooms. Those three achievement texts are the official proof that Predator and Consumptor are real buildables, not nicknames.
What to do when the counter hits zero
Stop building. Grow along nodes you already paid for until you reach a fresh pile of leaves. If rain is falling, the on-screen line about free hyphae shots is the moment to stretch. Buy Absorption before you buy another mushroom you cannot feed. Predator is the scalable source, and it is the wrong purchase while you still have no leaves in range.
Flora, the green magic mushroom, is the discount: three public readings agree that it cuts mushroom food prices by 25 percent. It does not create food by itself. It makes the next Predator or Water mushroom cheaper. Depth and colour for Flora are on the magic shroom table. I am not printing a per-minute food rate, because no screenshot in the sources shows one.
