Best Upgrade Order in Mycelarium

Mycelarium (the 2026 incremental game by PLAN KAPKAN) has no official upgrade order. The sequence on this page is one efficient path: change the cost of every centimetre before you buy multipliers for mushrooms you have not placed.

The order and why it is shaped this way

Shot Range lets the next aim reach food you can already see. Water Efficiency lowers the water on every centimetre after it, which is the growth cost. Absorption is how fallen leaves become a reliable feed. Soil Penetration is how you leave the first brown layer without waiting on a Digger. A long play video buys range, width, water, and absorption in that neighbourhood. A community priority guide puts Water Efficiency ahead of width. I follow the guide for the second slot and I mention width as the video’s extra purchase, not as a contradiction I need to erase.

After those four, Absorption Speed and Node Efficiency are the “make the same action cheaper” pair. Predator’s branches come once a Predator is actually down and food is the stall. Repeller’s Auto Regen comes once animals, not hunger, are the stall. Water’s branches come once a Water mushroom exists. Everything else waits. If your bottleneck is crows, skip ahead to Auto Regen even if the list still says Predator. The list is a default, not a law.
