Mycelarium (the 2026 incremental game by PLAN KAPKAN) lets a Spore mushroom throw the next growth point across open ground. The store calls them wind-carried spores. The landing still needs water, food, and a way home.

What a shot actually buys

A spore shot is a new node somewhere you did not grow to centimetre by centimetre. The official upgrade tree hangs three branches under Spore: count, quality, and lightness. No public post gives the per-level numbers, so this page names the branches and stops. A discussion thread says spores can drop nodes under small rock walls, which some players use instead of a Digger. That is one thread. I am not writing it as the intended bypass.

The shot spends resources, and the new node is born hungry. If you fire into dry dirt with no pool and no leaf, you have paid for a strand you cannot feed. Plan the return path, or the new colony is a picture rather than a factory. Update 1.02 did not change the spore rules in the announcement; it added the hotkeys and the animal tracker around them.

Achievements and the ending rumour

Fly my darlings! is twenty spore shots. That one is a count, and the achievement text is the whole instruction. Hedgehog Bus asks you to shoot spores from a hedgehog’s back. Players are still comparing how they got the hedgehog to cooperate. I will not print a mandatory setup.

The Great Migration ending is tied to spores in more than one player post: some say you release spores after the task list, some guess at a huge number of Spore mushrooms. The ending page keeps those reports side by side. A spore guide that pretends one number is the finish line would be inventing a trigger the studio has not published.

Only for the small walls one discussion mentions. Larger stone still points at Digger or Soil Penetration on the other pages.

How many spores finish the game?

No official number. Twenty shots is an achievement, not the ending.
